Platinum Dolato

Description:

Platinum Dolato is a sugary dense strain with some leaves shaded purple. Platinum Dolato is an Indica Dominant strain and is a cross between Platinum Kush and Dolato. Platinum Dolato smells of sweet, earthy, and carmel. Users can expect a hybrid experience of both highs, active imagination with racing thoughts, but a heavy body high. Individual THC test 20% and CBD unknown.

Fragrance:

Platinum Dolato’s fragrance is not pungent, but it is noticeable. The dominant fragrance is sweet with light hints of earthy and caramel.

Rank: 3.5 (out of 5)

Taste:

The taste of Platinum Dolato is one of its best highlights. On the inhale light hints of caramel can be experienced and stronger hints of caramel and sweet on the exhale. The taste is more noticeable on the exhale as caramel and sweet lingers. As the bowl goes on the taste actually becomes sweeter. Hits also continue to be smooth to the end.

Rank: 4.2 (out of 5)

High:

The high from Platinum Dolato is heavy with a decrease in motivation, but not a decrease in concentration. It is possible to stay alert. With Platinum Dolato both highs can be experienced. This strain is perfect for social gatherings where you might not want to be at or excited to go.

Slurricane

Description:

Slurricane is certainly a beautiful strain, stacked with sugary trichomes and a few dark purple leaves. Slurricane is a cross between Do-Si-Dos and Purple Punch making it an Indica-Dominant Hybrid. The aroma of Slurricane is of light creamy overtones and a medium hint of berries when the bud is broken. As an Indica, Slurricane can zone a user out. Not the heaviest of Inicas, but Slurricane does offer a good “Netflix and Chill” kind of night ( enuendo intended). THC and CBD percentages unknown.

Fragrance:

Before breaking open the bud of Slurricane the light sweet creamy overtones are evident. It is not until the bud is broken that the sweet berry fragrance can be experienced. The berry fragrance is stronger than the sweet cream overtones. This fragrance I can relate most to Captain Crunch Berries.

Rank: 3.7 ( out of 5)

Taste:

On the inhale of Slurricane the light creamy overtones are experienced, but the sweet and berry overtones are non-existent. On the exhale the light creamy taste is more prevalent with the sweetness experienced, but very light. Berry overtones still lacking.

Upon smoking, one might experience the smoke created from the exhale to be fragrant. This fragrance is noticeable and is of light sweet cream. The bowl lasts 4+ hits of flavor.

Rank: 3.5 (out of 5)

High:

The high experienced from Slurricane was of one that zoned me out, but not in an inward sense. Mind wondered wherever it did. This is a nighttime strain, but should be said Slurricane does not give a couch lock feel, but more of loss of concentration. I would not consider Slurricane a heavy hitter, but I wouldn’t be comfortable out in public with it. I would go as far to say this strain is a great “romantic” strain.

Rank: 4.0 (out of 5)

Score: 3.8 (out of 5)

*Does not Recommend.

*Note from Reviewer: Slurricane ranked .1 point away from me being able to round it to 4.0 to have it recommended. Personally this gives me an indication that this strain is user specific. I enjoy light strains like these and I would personally purchase this strain myself, but that is a personal preference.

Candyland

Decrisption:

Candyland is a strain that takes its name from its esthetics rather than fragrance. When turned upside down the trichomes resemble a chandalier. Candyland is a Sativa Dominant Hybrid and is a cross between GrandDaddy Purple and Platinum Cookies. As a Sativa the effects are mood changing and offer a positive mood change, an enlightened state of mind. Candyland is best suited for daytime use even though it offers a light increase in energy. Users say they can experience sweet and earthy tones.

Fragrance:

The fragrance of Candyland is very light. When concentrating on the fragrance, light hints of sweet and earthy tones can be detected. There is a third fragrance that I took as gas, however, you never know.

Rank: 2.5 (out of 5)

Taste:

Candyland’s taste is very much like its fragrance, very light. On the inhale little hints of earthy tones can be experienced. On the exhale the sweet tones are present, but the earthy tones dominate. Flavor disappears by second hit.

Rank: 2.5 (out of 5)

High:

Candyland’s high is noticeably enlightening. However, comparatively to other Sativas, Candyland is on the lighter side. Burst of energy that a strong Sativa is known for, was not experienced. For a light user of Sativa Candyland would make a good match.
