Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit has got to be one of the best strains fragrance wise. The terpenes within Forbidden Fruit smell of sweet cherry and strong citrus overtones. This is because Forbidden Fruit is a cross between Cherry Pie and Tangie. As one can expect from an Indica, Forbidden Fruit is a beautiful deep purple with few orange hairs across the flower. People say they experience a deep body high, which makes it good for relaxation. The THC ranges from 23%-27% and CBD less than 1%.

The fragrance is unmistakeable, strong citrus but without the zinginess or tangy tones, if you will. The smell only can be best described as a grapefruit. There is a perfect mix of citrus, sweet, and floral scents. It should be noted that the city’s overpowers both scents. However, when you break open the bud the floral and sweet tones become stronger. There is no gas and no earthy tones.

The inhale tastes like nothing, unless you take a large hit. Yet, on the exhale, magic happens. On the exhale the citrus and floral terpenes come out in full force. The best way to describe it is if you just got done smelling perfume. Most of the flavor is locked in the aftertaste. The aftertaste lasts around 30 seconds, maybe even longer. The flavor lasts the entire bowl, but gradually fades each time as one can expect.
